Patrick Stegemoeller

Staff Attorney

Patrick joined Project Guardianship Project in April 2020 as staff attorney. Prior to Project Guardianship, Patrick worked with the League of Conservation Voters in Washington, DC, where he represented the legal department in racial and environmental justice programs related to the 2020 Census, voter registration, and climate justice.

Patrick is a member of the New York State and Washington, DC, bars. He received his JD from Georgetown University Law Center in 2018 with a special certification in refugee and humanitarian emergencies following his clinical work on behalf of migrant individuals with Kids in Need of Defense in Washington, DC, and the Center for Transnational Legal Studies in London. He received his Bachelor’s degree in history from SUNY Geneseo in 2014, publishing his thesis on the socioeconomic makeup of local governments in New York State during the American Revolution.
